Christina Qin was most recently the Vice President of Shenhua Paper Canada, a Canadian pulp & paper trading company with headquarters in China. At Shenhua, Qin was responsible for all  of the company's purchasing and sales in Canada. Qin graduated with an MBA in International Marketing from Export Akademie Baden- Wuerttemberg, Germany and earned a Ph.D. in International Finance at Battington University in Mobile, Alabama.

The primary objective of the new Vancouver office will be to strengthen the company's expansion of sales of tissue, as well as a variety of other paper products, throughout Asia, with a particular focus on the fast-growing Chinese markets.

In addition to its Asian initiatives, the Vancouver office will also work with Convermat's expanding West Coast client base in order to raise even further the level of service that the company provides to its customers and suppliers.
